Haunted Site
Miami, Florida USA
Rated as Miami's most haunted house, the Villa Paula was once the Cuban Embassy many years ago. The old mansion has changed landlords many times,
with each reporting strange ghostly activities in the building and on its grounds. Most notable is the apparition of the former wife of a Cuban
official, eerie sounds of piano music, and the smells of Cuban coffee brewing. There have been numerous reports of poltergiest activities, things moving or flying about, caused by mysterious unseen forces. Even animals have experienced a ghostly fate. A mysterious force that slams shut an iron gate has killed several housecats. Investigations have proven that the gate was not blown by the wind, nor moved by any known physical force. The Villa Paula hauntings have made the news in many magazines on the unusual and in many Florida newspapers. There are no known public reports for the past five years.
