At the Hard Rock Cafe you might run into the ghost of Robert Curry. William Curry was one of Key West’s first millionaires and he spared no expense building the large home for his son, Robert Curry, and his bride. Robert was always a sickly fellow with asthma. After slowly squandering away the family fortune, Robert hung himself in the upstairs bathroom in 1917. The Hard Rock Cafe staff says they hear noises and footsteps on the second floor. Art work and pictures are constantly falling off the walls.
